How are you involved in education?
I am the Director and Assistant Professor of Learning Technologies at Harrisburg University of Science & Technology.  I coordinate and teach in the Learning Technologies Master of Science (LTMS) program, which includes graduate students working in education, business and those in career transition.
What does your ideal classroom/school look like?
It’s blended, individualized, collaborative, experiential, project-based, immersive, inspirational and transformational.
If you were to lead a session at EdCamp, what would it be about?
Most of my work in the past year has been focused on the multiplayer classroom concept, games in education and creating online learning.  I will most likely lead a session on one of those topics.

How are you involved in education?
I teach middle school Social Studies (and I used to teach Spanish)
What does your ideal classroom/school look like?
Slightly loud and chaotic because everyone would be excited about what they were learning. All students and teachers would have exactly the devices and resources they needed to be successful.
If you were to lead a session at EdCamp, what would it be about?
I either want to talk about creative ways to use non-fiction reading in a cross-curricular setting or formative assessment tools. Or both. But I can be persuaded the day to have passionate conversations about anything.

How are you involved in education?
In my role as an Instructional Technology Specialist, I work with K-12 classroom teachers to successfully integrate the use of effective strategies and multiple technologies in order to differentiate and enhance student learning. Plus, it’s a lot of fun!
What does your ideal classroom/school look like?
An ideal classroom is one in which learners are actively engaged in learning through meaningful, fun projects and activities.
If you were to lead a session at EdCamp, what would it be about?
An exciting EdCamp session would be one that focused on discussing the use of learner directed learning experiences and how students learn independently when working through projects.

How are you involved in education?

I teach 6th grade math and science.

What does your ideal classroom/school look like?
My ideal classroom would be a 1 to 1 classroom. With students working in groups and collaborating. It would be a bit noisy, but the students would be engaged.
